Dagupan City, Pangasinan – The Philippine Nurses Association (PNA) - Pangasinan Chapter successfully hosted the Oath Taking Ceremony for 266 new nurses last February 18, 2023, at CSI Stadia, Lucao, District, Dagupan City.

Ms. Dancille Marie T. Celeste, who placed ninth on the Nurse Licensure Examination (NLE) in November 2022, has been honored as one of the Outstanding Performers/Placers. In contrast, Mariano Marcos State University (MMSU) has been recognized and honored as a Top 2 Performing School with an overall average of 99.47% NLE passing rate.

Hon. Gagno administered the professional oath and headed the pinning ceremony for the new Nurses. Vice President Aldwin D. Ilaw on the other hand formally brought the ceremony to a close and extended his heartfelt congratulations

The Professional Regulatory Board (PRB) of Nurses Chairperson, Hon. Elsie A. Tee, PRB Members, Hon. Zenaida C. Gagno, Hon. Mary Lou B. Ong, and Hon. Merle L. Salvani, PNA National President Dr. Melvin D. Miranda, PNA Region 1 Governor Zenaida C. Gagno, and PNA Region 2 Governor Merle L. Salvani were present at the event. Joy M. Bautista, PNA Pangasinan Chapter President Maria Cecilia Ticsay-Biascan, along with other National and Regional Officers of the PNA, Dagupan City Mayor Hon. Belen T. Fernandez, the Representative of Regional Director Atty. Arl Ruth B. Sacay-Sabelo, Mrs. Marie Grace Nava-Dela Cruz, and the Professional Regulation Officers of PRC Regional Office 1 were present at the event.
