Manila, Philippines – The Professional Regulatory Board of Geodetic Engineering recently conducted a Multi-Sectoral Consultation and Workshop on the Revision of Republic Act 8560, also known as the Philippine Geodetic Engineering Act of 1998, last 23-24 May 2018 at the Bulwagang Nubla, PRC Annex Bldg., P. Paredes St. Sampaloc, Manila.

Commissioners Jose Y. Cueto Jr. and Yolanda D. Reyes graced the opening ceremony of the said event. Geodetic Engineers from both the government and private sectors attended the workshop. It gave the participants a chance to share their ideas, beliefs and best practices on how they could refine their law.

It is a step towards the improvement of the whole profession in the global engineering scene for the benefit of not just the future generation of Geodetic Engineers but of the Engineering profession in the country as a whole.
