Manila, October 24, 2013 – University of Saint Louis – Tuguegarao graduate Jackson Castillejos Apostol topped the recent Board Licensure Examination for Certified Public Accountants (BLECPA) with a general average rating of 93.86%.

Apostol bested the 10,396 examinees who took the CPA exams in 7 testing centers which include Manila, Baguio, Cagayan De Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo and Legazpi.

University of Santo Tomas graduate Loraine Juliano Santos took second place with 92.86%. University of Saint La Salle graduate Christian John Gayosa Rojo and Holy Angel University graduate Aljon Quito Santos shared the third place with 92.57%.

The Professional Regulation Commission advises the successful examinees that the registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be on November 4, 5 & 6, 2013. Those who will register are required to bring the following: duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal, current Community Tax Certificate (cedula), 1 piece passport size picture (colored with white background and complete nametag), 2 sets of metered documentary stamps and 1 short brown envelope with name and profession and to pay the Initial Registration Fee of P600 and Annual Registration Fee of P450 for 2013-2016. Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.
