Maaño, former chairperson and reappointed as member of the Board of Medicine, formally took her oath before the Professional Regulation Commission on February 19, 2018, at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC). Hon. Teofilo S. Pilando Jr., Chairman of the Professional Regulation Commission administered her oath, witnessed by Commissioners Yolanda D. Reyes and Jose Y. Cueto Jr.
