ADVISORY: To All Civil Engineering Examinees Taking the Licensure Examination on November 9 and 10, 2019

The PROFESSIONAL REGULATION COMMISSION (PRC) announces that upon the recommendation of the Professional Regulatory Board of Civil Engineering, the allowable calculators under Resolution No. 09 (s. 2019) are in addition to those prescribed by Memorandum Circular No. 21 (s. 2009) as amended, for the November 2019 Civil Engineering Licensure Examinations (CELE) only.

The use of Casio fx-991 ES and Casio fx-991 ES Plus, as well as borrowing, lending and substitution/replacement of calculators while the examination is in progress, shall remain strictly prohibited pursuant to Memorandum Circular No. 01 (s. 2018).

To preserve the integrity of the CELE, calculators shall be subjected to thorough inspection by the examination personnel before/during the examination. Using or possession of prohibited/tampered calculators shall be deemed as act of cheating and violation of pertinent provisions of law which could result in the filing of appropriate charges.
